Making A Difference

Habitat for Humanity Press Room is in the business of changing and shaping lives. The work we do at our Non-Profit Organization is aimed at providing a holistic approach to solving some of our society’s biggest challenges. We make sure our partners are empowered by creating opportunities for individuals and communities.

Our Goal

Here at Habitat for Humanity Press Room, we know that sometimes all it takes to change the world is a little support. Since our founding in 1976, we have been determined to make an impact. The core of our efforts is to bring our team’s fresh ideas and passion to the range of activities we’re involved in. Through all of our endeavors we hope to display the conviction behind our beliefs.

OUR STORY

In 1976, Millar and Lina Fuller founded Habitat for Humanity in Americus, Georgia. Their goal was to address the issue of in adequate housing. From there we became a global non profit. We provide housing to local communities across all the 50 states in the U.S and 70 different countries. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers to pay an affordable mortgage. We build with a purpose to strengthen families and provide stability with affordable housing.
